Course Description
This course is given once a week for eight weeks. Classes are generally given on Monday evenings from 7:00-9:00 PM but can be arranged to fit schedules of applicants. Other classes or one time seminars may be scheduled to fit the needs of special groups. Classes will begin whenever five applicants sign up. The course was designed by Roger Baker, Berklee School of Music ‘69, who has over 35 years experience in the recording industry. The cost of the course is $375, which includes an extensive book of class notes, photos, and diagrams, as well as and Audio CD with examples of Music Production, mic placement, etc. A $75 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your place in the next class. If for any reason you are unable to attend, the deposit can applied to the next class once. A Certificate is issued upon completion, as well as a finished CD of an original production that was produced, recorded, and mixed by the class. All classes include extensive listening, analyzation of music styles and production, and hands on recording experience.
